Unbroken starts about a year after Untouched finishes. If you haven’t read book 1 (Untouched) I highly recommend doing so prior to reading Unbroken but if you choose not to Tabatha Kiss does an excellent job catching the reader up with the events of book 1. Unbroken is just as gritty and violent as the Untouched and then some. Unbroken also raises the steam level between Claire and Tobias. Unbroken features both new and old enemies and left me wondering what was going to happen. There were parts where I had to put the book down in order to diminish the tension that it built throughout. Tabatha Kiss is an excellent writer and this series showcases her talent. I cannot wait to dive in to book 3.
