A sexy new stand-alone comedy.
I still don’t know how it happened. One minute I was arguing with my arrogant competitor—our usual trash-talk over who deserves the larger commission. But somehow I went from throwing down to kneeling down…
It can never happen again. I don’t even like Braht. He’s too slick. He’s a manipulating mansplaining party boy in preppy clothes.
So why can’t I get him out of my head?
There are two things I know without question. One: Ash and I are destined for each other. Two: never trust a man with a unibrow.
Ash is my missing my piece. She’s the sweet cream to my gourmet espresso. And nothing gets me going faster than her contempt for me. They don’t call her the Ashkicker for nothing.
Eventually I’ll win her over…if my past doesn’t ruin everything first.
Genre: Romance – Comedy, Suspense, Enemies-to-lovers
Stand Alone: Yes
Part of a Series: Yes – Book 2 of the Man Hands series. Each has different main characters but the main characters of both are secondary characters in the other. No need to read the other but a lot of fun if you do.
POV: Ash and Braht
Steam Level: Toasty
Man Card is a fun addition to the Man Hands series. The chemistry between Ash and Braht is explosive. Both are stubborn and career-orientated. I love sassy characters and Ash is definitely my favorite kind of sass. Braht likes to bring out her sass. Braht is an atypical hero who manscapes and primps more than the female characters. But it works. The alpha that is brought out in him is sexy and fun. While I didn’t laugh as much at Man Card as I did at Man Hands I definitely laughed out loud several times while reading Man Card. If you’re looking for a sexy, funny romantic comedy that is both smart and steamy then pick up Man Card. Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby make a great team. I hope to see more from this duo in the future.
I received an advanced copy of this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
- Distraction is dangerous for cat burglars!
- Being bad can be exquisite.
- Nipple hardening leads to my brain shutting down, which is often followed by PLC. Poor Life Choices.
- Life events are just real estate transactions with Hallmark cards attached to them.
- Please, bitch. Motivation is everything – but motivational quotes with butterflies above them are tacky.
