I’m truly enjoying this international mystery series. The Chase takes Nick and Kate to Scotland, China, Canada and several parts of the US. I love the mix of characters and the world that Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg have created. Seeing the evolution of both Kate and Nick and the slowly burning sexual tension between the two is a lot of fun. I love the giggles I get throughout, especially with Kate’s dad and his friends. I can tell that rocket launchers will be a theme in this series. Just like Stephanie Plum’s car mishaps in that series, I’ll being waiting for the rocket launcher in books to come.
I listened to the audio version of this beek and enjoyed it quite a lot. The narrator fell to the background, not noticeable at all when he’s telling you this story. Excellent work. Definitely a narrator to follow.
