Although, Pucked Over is a standalone, it’s also the third book in this hilarious series. If you’ve read the other books in the this series, you met both Randy and Lily is book 2 as they are friends with those main characters. In book 2 you also see Lily and Randy’s first kiss and more of Lily’s ex. However, these two scenes are mentioned in this book so Pucked Over can truly be a standalone. While funny, especially the scenes with Violet in them (Violet is STILL my all time favorite character in this series), it’s not as riotous as Pucked. I loved the message in this book about expectations and how you’re not always who people think you are. The body image issues (for both Lily and Randy) are dealt with well and a great example of learning to love yourself and how you see yourself isn’t how others necessarily see you. Overall a fun story and I hope we get to see Lance’s story soon.
