Audiobook Review: Roping the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox
When Katarina shows up at the Circle B Ranch Bed & Breakfast to serve her new gluten-free, sugar-free, organic pastries, Braxton decides to make her life hell for kicking him out the next morning and then pretending he never existed.
First step, make fun of her tasteless muffins.
Second step, get revenge.
Soon the duo are at each other’s throats, getting even until things go too far and the chemistry burns too hot.
Kat claims their night together meant nothing.
He’s determined to prove her wrong.
**This was originally on the Read Me Romance podcast, but has been extended with bonus scenes. This can be read as a standalone, no other books are needed to enjoy this story!**
Genre: Romance – enemies-to-lovers, cowboy
Part of a Series: yes – takes place in the same world of their Bishop Brothers series
POV: Katarina and Braxton
Steam Level: toasty
I listened to this on the Read Me Romance podcast. The narrator who voiced Braxton was amazing – deep, gravelly and sexy AF.
Overall, this was a cute story. I enjoyed the banter but the pranks were a little juvenile/annoying. That said, I LOVED the last bar scene (which I will not give away). This is the first Kennedy Fox story I’ve read and really liked their style.
