Diagnosed with a rare terminal illness, I’ve spent over half my life in the Strand Corporation’s state-of-the-art treatment facility. I keep my chin up and do everything the doctors order, praying one day I’ll walk out of here in perfect health.
But when that day finally arrives, it’s nothing like I hoped it would be. Instead, it comes in a hail of gunfire, along with four distractingly handsome men who say they’re here to rescue me.
On the run with these mysterious men and hunted by the very people I believed were my caretakers, I begin to realize nothing is what I thought it was.
Turns out, I’m not really sick.
I’m not completely human either…

Title: Wolf Hunted
Author: Sadie Moss
Narrator: Laurel Schroeder
Genre: Paranormal (wolf shifter), suspense
Standalone: Nope – Ends on a cliffhanger
Part of a Series: Book 1 of the Last Shifter series
Steam Level: Hints of steam
I would have rated this book higher if it were a complete story. The mystery and suspense was well-done, with the reader/listener waiting for what happens next. The description isn’t lying when it says that this book is a slow-burn but, at this point, I’d question the “reverse-harem” part as there was zero sex. Up until the cliffhanger I was really enjoying this book. I’d listen to/read the next book but only if I know it had an ending. I’ve never read Sadie Moss before. Her writing is great but I’m wary about trying other books from her without knowing if the story ends.
I received this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
