They wanted different lives, and five years ago, it had driven them apart. Now their survival depended on putting aside their differences and working together.
Once, he’d been boy-next-door handsome, but now Deputy Marshal Kyle Munroe seemed a dark, dangerous stranger. When threats against her father put her life in jeopardy, Jennifer Brook followed Kyle into hiding . . . until betrayal sent them into desperate flight. With no one to trust but each other, with nowhere to go but his arms, Jenny and Kyle must come together, risking their lives and their hearts, in order to survive.
Action-packed and suspenseful. From the start I was pulled into the intrigue and romantic chemistry between Jenny and Kyle. After five years apart Federal Marshal Kyle Munroe and DC Judge’s daughter Jenny are forced together when Jenny’s life is threatened. Fighting for their lives and their unresolved feelings for each other Kyle and Jenny are forced to face their enemies, possible moles and their love for each other. Is this business or personal? The writing was excellent and the story even better. The race against the clock starts from the beginning and doesn’t stop until the end. This page-turner had me one the edge of my seat. It was a fast read that, once started, doesn’t let go until the end. I’ll definitely be reading Patricia Keelyn again.
I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
