Reese Brady needs a clean break from the family she destroyed and the brothers who shattered her heart. When an ex attempts to rekindle an old romance, she basks in his familiarity and friendship until the night he surprises her with tickets to see her favorite band.
Everything spirals out of control when she receives a desperate call from the man she never thought she’d hear from again. Will Reese get the clean break she seeks, or will she be forced back into the center of everything she’s trying to escape?
This forbidden romance series featuring a rock star and his business mogul brother must be read in order:
A Little Like Destiny
Only Ever You
Genre: Romance – Love Triangle, Rock Star, Second-Chance
Stand Alone: No – Definitely need to read Books 1 and 2 first
Part of a Series: Yes – Book 3 (of 3) in the A Little Like Destiny series
Steam Level: Warm
Of the entire series I like Clean Break the best. It was a gripping and emotional quick read. I got through it in only a few hours. The theme in the beginning is to fight for love, no matter the obstacles. It’s a good message but it did get a little old the second/third time around (different characters saying the same thing). In the beginning of this book i found myself simultaneously getting frustrated with Reese and also understanding where she was coming from. I did enjoy the second half of the book way more than the first half. Clean Break is an excellent end to the series and I hope to see more of Reese and her guy in the future.
I received an advanced copy of this book for free from the author. This is my honest and voluntary review.
- He loves you, and you should always fight for love.
- How do you move on from the only one who has ever spoken to your soul?
