Review: Deeper by M. Malone and Nana Malone

Category : Reviews

Synopsis:
The plan was never to fall in love… The plan was to avenge my father’s death.

Hell, I knew better. Never fall in love with the mark.

For ten years I have plotted and planned my revenge against Rafe DeMarco. He took the most important thing in my life away from me and I meant to return the favor.

Except, I was wrong…

Now, I need his protection. And I’m the fool who went and fell in love.

The best laid plans and all.

(Deeper is the finale of the Deep Duet. Start the duet with Book 1, Deep.)

My Review:
Genre: Romance – Suspense, action
Stand-Alone: Nope – Read Deep first
Part of a Series: Yes Book 2 of the Deep Duet, also third guy’s story with Blake Security. No need to read the first two sets but definitely makes it more fun
POV: Rafe and Diana
Steam Level: Hot, hot hot
5/5

Rafe and Diana’s story continues in Deeper. The action and suspense is gripping, keeping me on the edge of my seat. The twists and turns are mind boggling. The humor was very well done, just enough to break the tension so you can breathe. I loved getting to know the guys better. If you’re looking for a steamy romantic suspense with strong male and female characters who don’t just sit around and wait for things to happen to them and who aren’t afraid to fight for love then Deeper is the book for you. The men of Blake Security are intriguing and dangerous and sexy as sin who fight hard and love deep. Get into this series today! You’ll love it.

I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Favorite Quotes:

  • Where the fuck were his instincts? Someone needed to come and take his assassin card away.
  • The problem with letting his monster out to play was sometimes it was a little hard put the guy back in his box.
  • He fucking loved her. Which was inconvenient at best.
  • I belong to you. You belong to me. And I will maim or kill anyone to tried to hurt…you.
