Review: Love Struck by Nana Malone

Review: Love Struck by Nana Malone

A Sexy STANDALONE romance from USA Today Bestselling Author Nana Malone!!

There was one rule he couldn’t break…

Zephyr Donovan knew the sacred rule. Never date a student.

With the demons in his past, all he wanted was a fresh start. He wasn’t looking for trouble. But trouble tasted so damn good.

There are reasons for the rules…

Malia Adams had a complicated life. Well, actually it was pretty simple. Survive. Stay off the streets by any means necessary. And that was a nightly struggle. She didn’t have time to get involved with anyone.

Especially not the one person she can’t have.

Even if he is sex on a stick.

All he needs to do is stay away. All she needs to do is forget him. Looks like they’re both rule-breakers.

My Review:
Genre: Romance – Suspense, forbidden
Stand-Alone: Yes
Part of a Series: Yes – Book 6 of The Donovans
POV: Zephyr and Malia
Steam Level: Quite toasty at times

Although book 6 of The Donovans series, this is the first I’ve read of it. It was easy to follow without having read the first five. i enjoyed the characters and will definitely be going back to read more in this series.

I loved the suspense of the story. And while I guessed a major plot point I really enjoyed the execution of the reveal. Lovestruck was sexy and funny with both Zephyr and Malia being too stubborn for their own good sometimes. I loved the interplay of independence with the vulnerability of asking for help. It struck a cord very close to home with me.

The more books I read of Nana Malone’s the more I enjoy her writing. The mix of emotion, humor, suspense and steam are so well dome that her books grip you from the start. Lovestruck was no exception. If you’re look for a new romantic suspense then this book is the one for you.

I received an advanced copy of this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
