Review: Bad Reputation by Vivian Wood
Category : Reviews
I’m over Jameson. Finished. Done.
He broke up with me, citing his friendship with my big brother. So I washed my hands of him. Heartbroken, I am trying to move on with my life.
But of course, Jameson can’t make things easy for me. He’s still in my space every chance he gets, taunting me with his soulful eyes and his clever smile. I remember all too well what it felt like to be wrapped in his arms, to be under his big body, to be screaming his name.
I just can’t seem to shake him. Every step I take away from him seems to bring us closer together, even though we’ve been down this road before.
The same forces threaten to rip us apart… unless Jameson and I learn to put love first.
Genre: Romance – Brother’s Best Friend, second-chance
Standalone: Yes and No – Bad Reputation picks up right where Bad Behavior left off. But Vivian Wood did a fantastic job of catching the reader back up
Part of a Series: Yes Book 2 of 2 (and a prologue) of the Bad Behavior Duet and the beginning of the Redemption Beach Series
POV: Emma and Jameson
Steam Level: Hot
I’ve been looking forward to Bad Reputation since the end of Bad Behavior. Once I started it I devoured it in a matter of hours. Vivian Wood masterfully catches readers up with Emma and Jameson. Their story was passionate and fiery. Vivian Wood weaves in elements of class, privilege, and friendship to make this story even more gripping. Bad Reputation was a wild ride and I hope see more of Emma and Jameson’s HEA in my future visits to Redemption Beach.
I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
- Of course it’s complicated…Nothing that is worthwhile is ever easy.
- “You are wicked.”…”I try my best.”
