Audiobook Review: A Harmless Little Plan by Meli Raine

Category : Audiobook, Reviews

Turns out there was a second video from that awful night four years ago. Mine wasn’t the only tape.

Too bad mine wasn’t the worst.

Drew can’t protect me no matter how hard he tries, but the roles are flipped now. I have to help him, but I’m not wired that way. Not anymore.

That one night changed me more than anyone knows; more than anyone could predict. Three men think they’re above the law. They’re right. But I’m willing to go beneath the law to make sure they never harm anyone else.

Their threats don’t scare me. When you have nothing left to lose because someone took it all away, you create the most dangerous creature imaginable: me. Game over.

A Harmless Little Plan is the final audiobook in the political thriller/romantic suspense trilogy by USA Today best-selling author Meli Raine.

My Review:
Title: A Harmless Little Plan
Author: Meli Raine
Format: Audio
Narrators: Andi Arndt, Sebastian York
Genre: Romantic Suspense, Second Chance, Political, Dark
Standalone: No – Read the first two books first
Part of a Series: Yes Book 3 of 3 in the Harmless series
POV: Lindsay and Drew
Steam Level: A little but mostly no – could trigger some people

A Harmless Little Plan is the third (and final) book in the Harmless series. This book picks up right where book 2 A Harmless Little Ruse ends. Meli Raine did a good job mixing in humor in what could have been a very dark book. Meli Raine rode the edge of sanity and darkness while proving how powerful love is.

I read the Shameless series prior to reading this one so I knew going in some of the plot points and reveals. However this was still engrossing and gripping. I truly enjoy Meli Raine’s writing style and want to read the Coming Home Series and the Breakaway series – both of which proceed this series, neither of which are imperative to following this series.
