Review: The Bet by Natalie Wrye
Category : Reviews
In fact, nothing I felt for sexy lawyer Violet Keats was innocent.
Fate pushes the two of us together; a family feud keeps us there.
Too bad one little bet might ruin it all…
AUTHOR’S NOTE: This is the second full-length, stand alone, enemies to lovers/office romance in the Manhattan Nights series. It contains humor, twists and steam. Have fun!
Title: The Bet
Author: Natalie Wrye
Genre: Romance – Suspense, Second-Chance, Enemies-to-Lovers, Office, Holidays
Part of a Series: Yes Book 2 of the Manhattan Nights series
POV: Violet and Heath
Steam Level: Slow Burn to toasty
The Bet is the second book in the Manhattan Nights series. If you read The Vow (book one in the series) then you’ve met both Violet and Heath and how they first met. It’s not necessary to have read it in order to enjoy The Bet but it just makes it a bit more fun. Set over only a few weeks, The Bet is a fast-paced romance with mystery and a slow, sensual build up to the sexy explosion for Heath and Violet. The push and pull was engaging but not annoying. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. If you’re looking for a fun romance with many elements and an engrossing story then look no further.
I received a copy of this book for free from the author. This is my honest and voluntary review.
- Where had I fucked around and found a conscience?
- All’s fair in love and the law, and if you want to stay clean, then I’d seriously consider another line of business.
- When you fall in love, your life is no longer your own.
