I’m not a big fan of step romances but I’ve heard of Jenika Snow and figured I’d give this a chance when listening to the Read Me Romance podcast. It was okay – not great. The narration was decent – the only part that took me out of the story was on the last episode where the narrator pronounced lower like “brow”er. The sex scene wasn’t sexy. This novella just kind of fell flat for me.
