Nana Malone knows how to write interconnected duets! Fans of her Blake Security books will recognize and certain British bodyguard. Fans of her Royal Elite series (especially the Billionaire Duet) will recognize the event that is the present day in the Prologue and Epilogue and will recognize the mention of characters in the Winston Isles. However, if you’re a newbie none of this integral to the story – they’re all just a wink and a nod to fans, which I am.
London Soul continues the journey of Lex and Abbie’s relationship. Nana Malone plays cat and mouse with the reader’s emotions, leading through a romp of epic proportions. When you think everything is okay something sucker punches you. When you think something is going to bite you, you get kisses instead. There are so many characters in these books and I want to get to know each and everyone of them. I also wonder if I already have since the events of Lex and Abbie’s story takes place five years prior to the event that happens in the prologue/epilogue.
If you’re looking for a romantic suspense with strong female characters, alpha princes who don’t have their thrones, witty banter, sexual innuendo and close friends who become family then look no further. I highly recommend the London Royal duet and the all of Nana Malone’s books. I truly enjoy her take on royal intrigue, betrayals, and romance.
