Review: London Soul by Nana Malone

Category : Reviews

Synopsis:
Before her, I was:

Rich.
Entitled.
A possessive pain in the ass.

Who am I kidding? I still am.

Love wasn’t for me.
I’d come to terms with that a long time ago.

And then I met her. I was this close to freedom. But one look at her and I was caught in a web I could’t escape. One I didn’t want to escape.

But then someone took her from me. Now they’ll find out just how far I’m willing to go to get her back.

To save the woman I love, all I need to do is expose my secrets. Secrets that will have consequences for her and my crown.

Note: A long long time ago, I wrote a book called LONDON BOUND. You can no longer get that book, but Alexi and Abbie have gotten another chance to tell you their story in a whole new way. LONDON ROYAL and LONDON SOUL are a new take on their story adding them to my royals world! These books have fresh material, a fresh plot, and are being told from a whole new point of view. Enjoy!

My Review:
Title: London Soul
Author: Nana Malone
Format: Ebook
Genre: Romantic Suspense, Royalty
Standalone: No Read London Royal first. The last section of the epilogue leads right into the next set of duets.
Part of a Series: Book 2 in the London Royal duet
POV: Abbie and Lex
Steam Level: Toasty at time
5/5

Nana Malone knows how to write interconnected duets! Fans of her Blake Security books will recognize and certain British bodyguard. Fans of her Royal Elite series (especially the Billionaire Duet) will recognize the event that is the present day in the Prologue and Epilogue and will recognize the mention of characters in the Winston Isles. However, if you’re a newbie none of this integral to the story – they’re all just a wink and a nod to fans, which I am.

London Soul continues the journey of Lex and Abbie’s relationship. Nana Malone plays cat and mouse with the reader’s emotions, leading through a romp of epic proportions. When you think everything is okay something sucker punches you. When you think something is going to bite you, you get kisses instead. There are so many characters in these books and I want to get to know each and everyone of them. I also wonder if I already have since the events of Lex and Abbie’s story takes place five years prior to the event that happens in the prologue/epilogue.

If you’re looking for a romantic suspense with strong female characters, alpha princes who don’t have their thrones, witty banter, sexual innuendo and close friends who become family then look no further. I highly recommend the London Royal duet and the all of Nana Malone’s books. I truly enjoy her take on royal intrigue, betrayals, and romance.

I received this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
