Synopsis:
She’s an English Rose and I’m about to be a thorn in her side.
She doesn’t belong here. From the moment she steps foot in Rosewood High— it’s clear she must go.
And I’ll use my power to get rid of her. The betrayal I’m reminded of each time our eyes lock must end.
She’s a lost rich girl, trying to recover from the death of her parents. But none of that is my concern.
This is my life. My rules. My senior year. What I say goes.
And I say she’s done.
Until she proves me wrong…
Dear readers,
THORN is a little different to my usual, it’s a high school bully romance with high levels of angst, drama and emotions. It is an upper YA romance and not intended for readers under 17.
My Review:
Title: Thorn
Author: Tracy Lorraine
Format: ebook
Genre: High school bully romance
Standalone: yes
Part of a Series: Rosewood High Book 1
POV: Amelie and Jake
Steam Level: toasty at times
4/5
Bully romances can be hit or miss. Thorn was a hit. The push and pull between Amelie and Jake was an epic tug-of-war. I enjoyed the banter and getting to know the different sides of Jake. Thorn reminds you that sometimes the right person can see right through the mask you show to the outside works. I liked how Amelie never broke and rolled with the punches, causing Jake’s behavior to blow up in his face. Thorn was a fun read and I look forward to reading more of this series.
I received this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
