Becca Phillips is an independent woman who has made her career as an ER nurse a priority in her life. She has a loving family and a best friend by her side, but she can’t seem to get over her first love, Scott. Insecurities led her to break up with him years ago when he started climbing the ranks in professional hockey and, for eight years, Becca has avoided Scott when he returns home each summer. Can she overcome her fears and allow love back into her life? All she has to do is Just Say Yes to the one and only man she has ever loved.

My Review:
Genre: Romance – Second Chance, Friends-to-Lovers, Sports, Hockey
Stand Alone: Yes
Part of a Series: Yes, Book 1 of the Indianapolis Eagles Series
POV: Becca and Scott
Steam Level: Toasty
4/5

Just Say Yes was a different sort of second-chance romance. It was a combination of sweet and sexy where the characters knew their break up was not what they wanted and were willing to take a chance on love again. This book is uniquely sweet with very little angst or drama – full of love, communication, and adulting throughout. The use of the first-person, present-tense sucks the reader in and was almost like reading a diary.

I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review. I cannot wait for book 2.
