Walker Williams is my f*ck buddy.
I get his carefree smile.
I get his inked arms.
I get his massive ahem.
It’s the perfect arrangement. The cocky playboy makes me c*me. I hold onto my secrets.
No getting lost in his dark eyes. No melting into his soft embrace. No falling head over heels.
We’re playing. That’s it.
I need to think about his lips on my neck, his hands on my skin, his hard body against mine.
If he unlocks my heart, if he finds out the truth…
There’s no way he’s staying.
Playing is a smoking hot standalone romance with a friends with benefits theme, a dirty talking playboy hero, and a strong heroine who brings him to his knees.
Come see why readers say “no one writes broken bad boys like Crystal Kaswell.”

Stand Alone: Yes
Part of A Series: Yes – Book 2 of the Inked Hearts Series
POV: Walker and Iris
Steam Level: Kindle-melty
Playing is the second book I’ve read by Crystal Kaswell and also the second book in her new Inked hearts Series. Although you don’t need to read Tempting (book 1) it is fun to see more of Brendon and Kaylee in Walker’s book. And you feel like you’re in on their secrets (which is briefly explained in Playing). Not necessary but definitely fun.
Playing is a roller coaster of casual to serious. It looks at who you are versus who you were and how the people around you effect your views of certain aspects of life. It’s about friendship (I love romance books with strong male friendships) and love. I enjoyed the suspense of secrets, the realism of addiction, and the turbulence of when those collide. I look forward to reading more of Crystal Kaswell and the men of Inked Hearts.
I received an advanced copy of Playing. This is my honest and voluntary review.
His skin is slick. I can’t get a grip. Fuck, I lost my grip a long, long time ago.
