I’m not sure if these books are getting shorter (there are certainly less chapters) or if I’m just flying through them but I finished Filthy Deal in a matter of hours. I like that these books are standalone. However, there is one mystery that’s been running through this series and it’s not answered yet, but it’s getting closer. Leo and Luca were mentioned in Filthy Deal but you don’t meet them. Filthy Deal deals with a subject matter that some people can be sensitive to, but it’s not overly graphic. I love that these guys fall hard and protect the women they love. The twist in Filihy Deal was unexpected and it made me want to got back and look up something in Leo’s book, Nasty Bet, where Nico was first introduced.. Overall I really like this series, the characters and Mka Lane’s writing style.
