4/5
Crushed Ruby is the second book in the Broken Gems series which I’m reading in order. While Sapphire’s book was okay, I liked Ruby’s much better. Crushed Ruby is fast paced and intense. The mystery was great and I didn’t see the twist coming. Although dealing with intense subject including human trafficking, bullying and suicidal ideation, Crushed Ruby was not preachy or overdramatic. I’m looking forward to reading Diamond’s story and continuing this series.
I received this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
