Synopsis:
I am many things. billionaire, rogue, rebel. But I never figured myself for a thief.
My money can buy power, control, access. Even oaths of loyalty.
The one thing it can’t buy is her…or her safety.
I vowed to protect her…
I failed…
I can’t, under any circumstances, fail again. In order to save her, I’ll have to give up the one thing that I value most—control.
The Canary Jewel is the key.
Tonight I am no longer a billionaire.
Tonight I keep new secrets.
My name is Ben Covington and tonight, I am a thief.
*This isn’t the end of the story. It takes time to become a master thief. Join me and the London Lords in the epic conclusion. Revenge comes in the form of a single jewel. And you’ll find out who’s still standing in For Her Benefit.
My Review:
Title: The Benefactor
Author: Nana Malone
Format: Ebook
Genre: Romantic suspense
Standalone: No
Part of a Series: Book 2 of the See No Evil trilogy
POV: Livy, Ben
Steam Level: Slow burn to steamy
4/5
Nana Malone proves once again in The Benefactor why I love her romantic suspense series. I’ve read almost all of her most recent books and I love the cameos of previous characters. The Benefactor was no exception – featuring some of Team Winston Isles and Princes Alexi and Xander, along with mentions of a certain hacker from a security firm in New York. I’m giving The Benefactor four stars rather than five because it seemed like FOREVER until Livy and Ben worked out their issues caused from the end of Big Ben and the beginning of The Benefactor. However, I cannot wait to see how this trilogy plays out.
I received an advanced copy of this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
