I listened to this on the Read Me Romance podcast. While I liked the book, I wasn’t too sure of the narrators, especially the female one. I realize that the heroine is supposed to be trying to convince her husband (the hero) to sign divorce papers, she just sounded both angry and whiny, an odd combination that made me less sympathetic to her. This was about 85% of her narration. However the sweeter moments were great – just few and far between. In other words – read, rather than listen to, this one. Omg I do love Ruby Sue and her small-town version of marriage counseling!!! That alone makes me want to look into other Avery Flynn stories – especially ones set in Salvation.
