Synopsis:
Lady Henrietta has been in love with her neighbour since she was eight years old, and always known they were fated to be together. Unfortunately for her, Lord Cottingham seems oblivious to the fact they were made for each other. When she is forced to acknowledge that James thinks of her as nothing more than a friend, she is determined to make him realise just what a diamond he has let slip through his fingers.

This started out so fun – with Henry’s unrequited love of her best friend and neighbor James. However, it quickly became drawn out and, frankly, a bit boring. There was a lot of unnecessary drama and hurt feelings. The story ends with no epilogue. Both James and Henry were TDTL and got annoying quick. The narration was fun with a bit of flair that was entertaining to listen to. Overall it was a quick, fun historical romance that keeps the audience entertained.
