Review: Tempting the Heiress by Nana Malone

Review: Tempting the Heiress by Nana Malone

Synopsis:
One error in judgment. That is all it took.
They say don’t mix business with pleasure, but I fell in love with the client and now I’ve lost her.
But I would do it all over again if it meant keeping her safe.

Now I’ll have to fight like hell to earn her trust again. If I don’t, it could cost both of us everything.

My Review:
Genre: romantic suspense – Royalty, Bodyguard
Standalone; Not really. Read book one first but also sets up the next duet
POV: Mostly Neela and Jax
Steam Level: toasty
5/5

Nana Malone knows how to write books! If you like romantic suspense (which I love) with Bodyguard and royal tropes then you’ll love this book and this series. I adore this book and this series. I liked but also was frustrated about the little tease for the next duet.

Tempting the Heiress had all sorts of twists and turns. It was full of action, suspense and surprises. I adore Jax and Neela is pretty awesome herself.

I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Favorite Quotes:

  • Maybe I was being a little childish, but I was done. I’d run out of fucks to give, and I was taking no prisoners.
  • Home isn’t your address….It’s what is in your heart.
  • If I’d ever had any fucks, I’d lost them now.
  • I’d never felt like this before. It’s like when we’re in the same room we orbit around each other.
  • “What kind of an idiot falls in love with her bodyguard?” “Oh,  just about every heroine in history.”
