A second-chance romance with a twist. Adriana’s pain and loneliness is palpable. Dealing with her sister’s addiction and so much loss Adrian a continues to push forward and not give up. Kathy Coopman creates a strong yet vulnerable character in Adriana. The way she describes the push and pull, ups and downs of loving an addict is heartbreakingly realistic. Kathy Coopmans does a great job demonstrating how Blake had to live and struggle with his leaving and why made such a great story. Past and present combine to create a stronger future if Adriana and Hunter can survive the demons of what separated them in the first place.
