Review: All the Pretty Girls by Riley Edwards

Category : Reviews

Synopsis:
Meadow Holiday was off-limits.
Completely. Totally. Out of bounds.
A witness.
A victim.
And achingly beautiful.
With a shiny new badge clipped to my belt, I thought I could save the world or at least protect those I loved.
A sadistic serial killer proved me wrong.
The only way to keep Meadow safe was to break the rules, keep her close, and claim her as my own. Only she proved to be harder to catch than the lunatic running around on a murder spree.
I had no business falling in love in the middle of an investigation. But she’s the one, I feel it deep in bones.

Special Agent Nick Clark gave me hope.
He was so far out of my league it was laughable.
Untouchable.
So damn good looking it hurt to look at him.
He was everything I’d dreamed of having, but knew I’d never have.
His charm was irresistible, and the first time he kissed me I stupidly fell in love.
He promised me a world I thought was long ago stolen from me.
A fairytale where a sexy FBI agent saves the scared and scarred girl.
Just when Nick breaks down the fortress I’d built to protect myself and pushes through my doubts – it’s too late.
The villain in our story has come for me.
I knew better than to believe in happily ever afters.

All the Pretty Girls is a full-length romantic suspense novel – a bonus chapter of Free – A black ops romance (Lenox book 1) is included for your consideration.

My Review:
Genre: Romance – Suspense, FBI
Standalone: Yes
Part of a Series: Yes Book 1 of The Next Generation series. A spin off of The 707 Freedom Series. You don’t need to read the 707 books first but if you do then seeing the families growing up is awesome.
POV: Nick and Meadow
Steam Level: Slow burn to sexiness
4.5/5

This is the third book I’ve read by Riley Edwards and I really enjoy her writing style. All the Pretty Girls had a ton of suspense, action, and humor. I figured out who did it pretty quick but it was fun watching the investigation unfold. All the Pretty Girls sucked me in from the start, reading nearly a third of it in one sitting. If you like romantic suspense with strong male characters and dogs then pick up All the Pretty Girls and enjoy the ride.

Favorite Quote:

Women truely were fascinating. Soft, sexy, intelligent beings that could turn into vengeful blood-thirsty beasts at the drop of a hat.
